RamActive makes more physical memory accessible to the system. Use RamActive to release a selected quantity from physical memory, when the minimum level is achieved. You can also use it to release the selected quantity. Utilising the physical memory at regular intervals, and to free the physical memory manually as if becomes necessary

Improve Core System Performance

On systems with large amount of RAM this tweak can be enabled to force the core Windows system to be kept in memory and not paged to disk.

Automatically Unload DLLs from Memory

Windows Explorer caches DLLs (Dynamic-Link Libraries) in memory for a period of time after the application using them has been closed. This can be an inefficient use of memory on low memory systems, and may cause problems or delays for programmers developing with Windows DLL files.

Change Hung Application Timeout Value

It will force Windows to shutdown immediately ending all tasks without attempting to safely close any applications that have hung.

Optimize the System Cache Size

This setting controls whether the system cache is optimized for a Desktop computer or network server. Network servers usually require more memory dedicated to file caching, while desktop computers require more memory for running software applications.

Optimize Large Second Level Cache

Windows is optimized for a 256KB secondary cache by default. With most computers now having L2 caches larger than that it pays to take the time to change the setting to correspond to the size of the cache memory installed.

Clear the Page File at System Shutdown

Windows does not normally clear or recreate the page file. On a heavily used system this can be both a security threat and performance drop. Enabling this setting will cause Windows to clear the page file whenever the system is shutdown.
